Traveling through Dagestan. It was a hot day, I was deep in sleep while we were being transported in an old loaf of bread. It felt as if fate itself wanted me to see a world that seemed completely different. And I opened my eyes. The mountains were high and rose to the sky, as if made for giants. The cracks in the earth, which had split in some places, were just as big.All this merged into such dynamics that it seemed as if the ground would split under us. I was taken aback by this thought and at the same time I was overwhelmed by the delight of what I saw. I froze, as if nature itself had stopped time at that moment so as not to disturb that absolute beauty.

An endless stream of sheep, their collective rhythm, coexists harmoniously with nature. There is no room for fuss in this interaction. Everything is frozen, even the car, which cannot go any further.

The Chirkey reservoir captivated me at first sight with its endless blue space. Where does this distance lead? What is hidden behind its horizons? As if everything in this place called for a journey through unknown worlds, provoking a mixture of anxiety and delight in the soul. Among this silent grandeur, you feel like a part of something greater, indescribable.

Calm silence. You just want to watch and admire the sunset, when everything turns to gold. At such moments you understand that you don’t want to rush anywhere and you feel every minute of your life.
