An artist-painter rethinking the role of the academic school in modern times. Having come a long way in the classical school of painting, I work with landscape subjects, rediscovering the subtle world of forms and depth of the visible.

This love was instilled in me by my studies in art institutions, when we, students, went from the studio to sketch in other cities. Studying the surrounding world, traditions and architecture of different corners, we not only observe, but also enter into a deep, multi-layered dialogue with each element. Such interaction enriches our inner world, immersing us in emotions and thoughts, which are then transformed into something new and nostalgic. And what unites all this is the question that interests me about the feeling of oneself in space.
I pay a lot of attention to the layout. For me, this is a puzzle collection, swap everything, add something or remove something unnecessary. I also like to work with contrasts and one of the important priorities for me is light.
I work with such mediums as painting and graphics. Materials used for my works: acrylic, oil, tempera, colored pencils, various soft materials

They convey a certain time and my personal experience, so it is often a realistic depiction.

CITY

The painting "ROOF" was painted after my visit to a summer cinema on the roof. When all the visitors left, it seemed to me that the main thing in this space was the red chairs, which continued to watch the movie. A completely different atmosphere appeared, as if all the objects were in a dialogue with each other. And only a bottle of water reminds of the former presence of a person

"ROOF"

This picture appeared after my walk along Tsvetnoy Boulevard. It inspired me with those feelings of internal conversation that I always feel when listening to my favorite group "Bond with a Button". For me, a lantern is a kind of beacon that lights our way, and the stars are our companions in life.

STAND UNDER THE LANTERN

I spent my entire childhood looking at this view from the window. Every day it was a different state, I was delighted. But everything has its satiety. When I moved out, I slowly began to miss this view. And when I visited my parents again and plunged into warm nostalgia, I realized that I wanted to paint this picture.

VIEW FROM MY WINDOW

This is my favorite work created after college. At that time I was searching and thinking about my creativity, which I want to talk about. The green light at the traffic light became my starting point on my journey.

LET'S GO FOR A WALK, THE WEATHER IS GOOD

There are many, many windows in the Moscow-City business center. When evening comes, the light from the windows turns into some hieroglyphs that we cannot read. I like to animate the inanimate, because you fantasize that the buildings have their own language.

HIEROGLYPHS OF LIGHT

When the Moscow Central Circle opened, I boarded the train on this line without thinking twice and traveled 90 minutes one way, then the other. I looked at the Moscow landscapes and really wanted to convey the feeling of a light haze that often happens in Moscow. And the sun added some kind of tender joy. The connection between generations was also visible, old Moscow competes with future new buildings that will take the place of cranes.
